Bhavani Ram is one of the experienced yoga teachers in Mumbai. She runs her own yoga studio under the brand name of Laxmana Yoga and Pilates. She is known for teaching yoga using different styles basis the specific needs of the students.
Bhavani Ram got extensive training in Vinyasa, Asthanga, Shivanada and Yin yoga. She is a certified E-RYT, RYT 500 and she conducts regular teacher training programs at various places in India. She has also completed her post graduation in Yoga Sastra in Somaiya collage, Mumbai. She conducts TTC , workshops, yoga retreats in and around Mumbai.
Bhavani Ram has a total experience of 15 years in teaching yoga. She acquired her inclination towards yoga at a very early age from her father. Though she was a qualified and practicing lawyer by profession, she found her inner calling and passion in yoga.
Bhavani Ram believes in sharing knowledge of yoga and her experiences to her students. She believes that the body and mind will become healthy when one concentrates on breath, stretch and heal.
A science graduate from Bangalore University, Shyamala brings 16 plus years of rich and extensive experience as a Yoga teacher and therapist. She has been with Yoga Vidya Niketan for 6 years, Welingkars for 3 years and continues to be with with Somaiya University for more than 7 years now. After completing a Diploma in Yogic Education and Diploma in Yogic Therapy Natural Living & Naturopathy from Yog Vidya Niketan, she went on to complete her B.A.Yogashastra and M.A.Yogashastra from Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University. She qualified for her NET in 2017 and is a certified YCB Level III – Yoga Teacher & Evaluator qualified under the Ministry of AYUSH. She is currently pursuing her PhD from KKSU and has submitted her PhD thesis. Shyamala has presented various research papers among which Therapeutic applications of Patanjali’s kriya yoga won the Best Paper Award.
Shyamala is a visiting faculty at KJ Somaiya Bhartiya Sanskriti Peetham, Vidyavihar and has served as a yoga teacher with Yoga Vidya Niketan for six years. She continues to organise and conduct various workshops for wellness and therapy.
She wants to make a significant contribution to the community welfare of the society with her skills and knowledge.
Sudha is a passionate Yoga teacher with keen interest in the areas of Pranayama, breathing practices and meditation techniques.
She is a Science graduate with Post graduation in Business Management. From a Corporate trainer to Yoga enthusiast, Yoga has been a part of her journey for more than a decade now.
Sudha completed her Yoga Teachers Training Course from Akshardham Swaminarayan Temple. Her desire to know more about Yoga led her to pursue Yoga academically.
After completing Post graduate Diploma in Yogic Sciences from Somaiya College, Mumbai, her curiosity to go deeper in to the science behind these practices, led her to pursue Masters Degree in Yogashastra.
In the current times, keeping your mental health in check is just as important as your physical health. Realising this aspect, her sessions are directed towards finding a balance between physical and mental health, through breathing practices and meditation techniques. She has worked extensively with people across all age groups, with practices tailor-made to suit each one’s health condition.
Certified in “Intensive Course in Pranayama” she practices and continues to spread this knowledge, initiating and mentoring people in to this divine wisdom.
